At Village Cinemas, we deeply believe in the power of the big screen as a vehicle for positive messages, dialogue and social awareness. For this reason, every year we implement actions that utilize cinema as a means of contribution, inclusion and support for society.

• Throughout the year, we actively supported the important social work of EL.EPAP. (Hellenic Society for the Protection and Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons). From the promotion of the organization's new campaign and the promotion of individual actions throughout the year, to the promotion of the Christmas lottery, we had the opportunity to utilize our network of cinemas to strengthen ELEPAP's work, projecting more than 38,000 messages with the aim of raising awareness and informing the public about the company's actions.
  
  
• At the same time, we supported non-profit organizations such as "Make-a-Wish Greece" and "The Smile of the Child", organizing private screenings or providing free tickets to children and families, as well as organizations such as "Doctors of the World" and the "IASIS" Non-profit Organization, offering moments of entertainment and relaxation to everyone. Finally, we also support associations of parents and guardians from schools across the country, through the sponsorship of free tickets.
  
  
• Finally, Village Cinemas also contributed to ANT1's Christmas Solidarity Telethon, which raised a total of more than 3 million euros to support five important non-profit organizations (Desmos, ELIZA, SOS Children's Villages, Floga and Make-A-Wish Greece), which focus on caring for children in need.

All of the above actions were always designed and implemented within the framework of the broader Social Impact Strategy of the Antenna Group.

However, beyond social contribution, at Village Cinemas we also consider it important to participate in actions that have a broader positive impact and bring us into contact with society as a whole, such as supporting the 8th Olympic Day Run and the 1st Thessaloniki City Marathon, an action that promotes sports, noble competition, and a healthier lifestyle. Accordingly, recognizing the importance of cinema as a means of spreading culture, for the second year we supported the IRIS film awards of the Hellenic Film Academy, a tangible proof of Village Cinemas' commitment to supporting filmmaking and artistic expression in our country.
